About Koto Hime[]
Koto Hime was an unlucky girl who always seems to be in despair. Desperate to fix her misfortune, she went to Kamogawa, a city where someone told her she will find a man that could help her with her problem.
She found the man but she arrived too late, and the man refused to see her. She left, and disappointed, Koto started to cry at the edge of a nearby river. Suddenly, she was hit by a baseball thrown by a child and fell into the river, almost drowning. The man she was looking for saw the accident and saved her.
When she regained consciousness, Hikomaro Yabeno (the man she was looking for) asked her to tell him her story. After hearing Koto's sad story, Hikomaro talked about his job, which consists of erasing the evil from the world. The stories about his adventures let her impressed and asked him to let her be his assistant.
