The Akihabara Sannin Musume (秋葉原三人娘) are a group of three girls who perform the song "Overclock Excitement" in Power Instinct Matrimelee and Shin Goketsuji Ichizoku: Bonnou no Kaihou. Akihabara Sannin Musume translates as "Akihabara's three daughters".
In the ending credits from Shin Goketsuji Ichizoku Toukon Matrimelee: Uchida, Nami Matsusima and Aya Fujimoto are credited as the performers of the song "overclock Excitement", however, In comments fromDencyu and Keiko Tanaka they said that in reality, Keiko Tanaka was one of the performers of the song along with two amateur girls in the matrimelee version of the song. For the Bonnou no Kaihou version, the two amateur girls were replaced by Momoeika and a new girl who was credited as Piko in the Bonnou no Kaihou soundtrack, leaving uncertain if the names Uchida, Nami Matusima and Aya fujimoto are mean to be the names of the Akihabara Sannin Musume or are the pseudonyms of the real singers.
In the booklet of Shin Goketsuji Ichizoku Bonnou no Kaihou Full chorus ost, Piko, one of the singers that voiced the Akihabara Three Daugthers, related that, the day she had to record the song, she was very sick and her voice sounded very husky. In his despair, Dencyu told to her: "These characters are 18 years old, you must sound young and cute". After many attemps she managed to sing and say her lines properly.
